Here you will find unique, low-sugar recipes straight from my kitchen. From dreamy cakes to chocolatey zucchini brownies, fruity Swiss rolls and juicy banana bread to light desserts and classic marble cake. Because what would life be without the sweet magic of baking?

Less sugar?

The term “low sugar” is often used on this site. By this I mean that the recipes here contain at least 30% less sugar than comparable recipes. With a reduction of 30-40% you usually don’t notice any significant difference in taste. But how did this come about?

My sister suffers from neurodermatitis and is not allowed to eat any sugar at all. Since sugar substitutes and similar things are unfortunately just as problematic, I decided a few years ago to reduce the amount of sugar in my recipes and replace some of it with bananas. Of course, you are free to bake the recipe exactly as you like, or replace the sugar with xylitol, for example, or use more sugar.

The kitchen is my favorite place

Ever since I could hold a whisk, I've been helping my grandmas in the kitchen. Over the years, I've learned how to bake and cook, and since I started baking birthday cakes on my own at the age of ten, I've realized that baking is more than just a hobby - it's my biggest passion!

Whether it's kneading the dough, mixing the ingredients or decorating the finished cakes, I enjoy every step. I especially love trying out new recipes and developing my own creations. There's nothing better than the smell of freshly baked cake filling the whole house and a smile on the faces of my family and friends when the warm cake creates an explosion of flavor.
